Our mission is to provide the best care for your pets!

Doggone Living was established in Chicago in 2010. However, Owner & Operator Saffron Medrano has been pet sitting since 2005.

For much of that time, she worked at animal hospitals both in Florida and Chicago obtaining invaluable medical experience in the veterinary field. It is very important that each Doggone Living team member is equipped with the same skills, so they are all experienced pet caregivers and have been taught advanced techniques of at-home pet care before looking after any of your fur babies!

It is our mission to provide the same caliber of care to all of our client’s pets as we would provide for our own fury companions—the best! We understand that exercise, love, and camaraderie is what keeps pets happy and healthy.

As a newer company, our team is small and tight-knit. Many of our clients and their pets have relationships with all of the Doggone Living’s sitters and walkers. We are all licensed, insured, and vet-tech trained.

We are a paperless company, so leaving written notes after a visit is only upon request. We send photo & chat updates via text or email through your Time to Pet portal! Getting silly shots of critters and sharing them with their owners is one of the highlights of our days!
